Here is a graduation card that props open like an easel. Pretty fun, huh?!
Many of you may have seen and even made easel cards before. But for those of you who need some direction, splitcoast has a great tutorial by Beate Johns.
My Measurements:
- Basic Black – 4-1/4" x 11" (scored at 5-1/2" and at 2-3/4"), 4-1/4" x 5-1/2", and 4" x 5-1/4"
- Whisper White – 3-1/4" x 3 and 3-1/2" x 1-1/2"
- Brushed Gold – 3-1/2" x 3-1/4"
- Gold Glimmer – 4"x 1-1/4" and scrap for extra punched stars in the upper right corner
Tips:
- Punch the bottom edge of the smaller Basic Black with the Star Border punch, then use a couple punched out stars as embellishments on the smaller Whisper White piece.
- The Brushed Gold, the smaller Whisper White and the smaller Basic Black are all attached with Dimensionals so they pop out away from the card a bit.
- The Gold Glimmer paper is attached to the 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic Black.
