I have a Graduation Card class coming up soon, and this is one of the cards I have planned for us to make.
Blue Ribbon is a fun stamp set that you may want to check out before it retires. And it makes for a very elegant graduation card when paired with the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder, Park Lane designer paper, and Brushed Gold card stock – all of which are also retiring.
I added a Dimensional to pop up the center.
Inside I pinned down the right flap with brads to form a pocket for a gift card or money.
Measurements:
- Basic Black – 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 2-1/8" and at 6-3/8" for the card base, 4-1/8" x 3-1/8" (and scraps for 2" circle, 1-1/2" circle and 2 banners)
- Soft Suede – 5-1/4" x 4" (and scrap for 1-3/8" center circle piece)
- Park Lane – 3" x 4"
- Brushed Gold – scrap for starburst shape
