Thank you for visiting today. Wendy's blog may have sent you my way. Thanks, Wendy.
I am participating in a blog hop this weekend (and another next weekend!) to help raise awareness and funds for those affected by autism.
You can help out by…
- Ordering Stampin' Up! product – I'll be donating 20% of my April 11th through April 19th sales. Click here to shop my online store and to place your order for product.
- AND/OR by Donating directly – Can you imagine if all of us donated even just a dollar? Any amount helps. Click here to access my donation page.
I have a campaign page set up with Autism Speaks – an autism advocacy organization in the United States that sponsors research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments, and the public. The minimum for online donations is $10. If you'd like to donate less or donate through the mail, you can send your donation to: Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd 2nd Fl, Princeton, NJ 08810. My campaign number is 4681.
Those of us demonstrators participating in the blog hop are also each sharing a bit of information about autism to spread more knowledge. Here is my tidbit…
Children with autism may experience coexisting conditions, such as fragile X-syndrome, epileptic seizures, tuberous sclerosis, Tourette syndrome, learning disabilities, and ADD.
I decided to post this card today to spread a little extra sunshine. (It's been cloudy and rainy here in Minnesota lately.) Plus it's just a super, cute "welcome baby" card.
I used the Ray of Sunshine stamp set (wood-mount or clear-mount), Sweet Taffy designer paper, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight from the Brights Collection of card stock, Whisper White and Smoky Slate from the Neutrals Collection of card stock, and a few punches (Cupcake Builder, Banner, Decorative Label, and the 1-3/8" Circle) to make this card. I also added Dimensionals and Rhinestones to give it that extra "wow" factor. Here's a quick video that I created for this card and used as one of my online training tools for my April 2014 Stampers With Art online team event.
Thanks for visiting today. Be sure to participate in the blog hop by visiting Rose's blog next!
