Friday at my Project Life class we made this pretty page layout using the Something Borrowed Designer Paper and Four Feathers stamp set. Check out the bottom of this post to see the full supply list of products I used to create this page.
This upper left section I embellished with stamped and die-cut feather images and pearls colored with gold Sharpie marker. Notice the circle grid paper in the above photo? I provided this at class as an optional journaling/title piece. But I took it out in the photo below to show this section can look great without it, too.
In the far right middle pocket, I created a photo overlay by stamping a 3" x 4" window sheet with a feather image using the StazOn White ink.
You'll also notice in the pocket just to its left I attached ribbon loops to a grid card. The idea of this is to write your memories and have it hidden behind a photo (as shown in this photo below).
I added photos and rearranged some pieces in my personal "almost completed, just need journaling" page. This is my oldest son, Nicholas (almost 6) in the summer of 2011 at my parents' lake home. It's rare to see him without his glasses. He loves his glasses! So I had to take lots of photos to capture those beautiful eyes.
I'm SO-o-o-o-o-o-o looking forward to summer again. Winters get too long here in Minnesota. Thanks for stopping by today.
P.S. The retiring products from the 2014-15 Catalog have been posted! Many items will become unavailable soon. Some have already sold out. Click here to learn more.
P.S.S. I'm participating in a fundraiser this month help raise awareness and funds for those affected by autism. Do you want to help?
You can donate directly any time this month. Click here to access my donation page. I have a campaign page set up with Autism Speaks – an autism advocacy organization in the United States that sponsors research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments, and the public.
