Below is a preview for a longer, more detailed post that I'll be putting on my blog next week. But I just HAD to share with you one of the sets of pages that I made last weekend on my crafting retreat! I couldn't wait! I'm so super proud. And I made these pages by just sponging ink all over Whisper White 12×12 paper! NO LIE!
"Bokeh" (the way a camera lens renders out-of-focus points of light) is one of the hottest visual trends in design right now. I've seen it on TV and in magazine ads. And paper crafters have taken a hold of this and termed the process for creating this illusion with ink and paper the "bokeh technique."
My pages (and the cards below) all were made using the bokeh technique. It's simple to do, but I warn you… it's messy and takes a bit of time. I hope you will visit me again next week when I share the step-by-step process and more photos of these pages. (Be sure to subscribe to my blog. That way you won't miss when I post.)
Here is a smaller version of what I did on my pages. My stampers will be making this card at my March Technique & Tea event.
Thanks for visiting!
Love the card and pages! can’t wait to see your step by step!
I’m hoping Wednesday!
