I love this kit!
And I love the extras that you have left over when you are done making the calendar. I'll show you what MY calendar looks like, and then I'll show you the additional scrapbook pages and note cards I made with the leftover pieces. Because I spent around $50 to get the kit, the matching stamp set, glue dots, and the note cards, I earned a free Sale-a-Bration item! So I chose the Big Day stamp set so I could make those note cards into birthday cards. Click here to see what YOU can get for free with a $50 order.
A perpetual calendar is one that you can use year after year. Just fill in the special birthdays and anniversaries, and you are set for years to come.
For these scrapbook pages I only added 2 full sheets of Early Espresso and one narrow strip of Whisper White.
You get 20 note cards and envelopes in a pack. So you really COULD make 15 more with the extra supplies. But here are 5 cards I created.
If you plan to purchase and make your own calendar with this kit, please note that you first need to put the calendar pages in the correct order. Some pages are numbered only to 30 not 31. And one is only numbered to 28 (even though it should be numbered to 29 for those leap years).
Here is a video by Stampin' Up! showing this fun kit.
In this video Brian recommends using Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush ink pads, but I felt that Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo coordinated better with the hearts and pieces in the kit. He also suggests using Tombow Multipurpose Glue, but I like using the 2-way Glue for my glitter. It's up to you, though. You can find all these supplies in my online store.
On a side note, I have a few people who are showing interest in forming an Online Paper Crafting Club. Click here for more information about my Online Club (and my other clubs). Then email me if you have any questions or if you would like to join.
