I don't have the patience to wait for sponges and daubers to dry after rinsing them, so I simply don't. Instead, I label them and store them in an embroidery floss container. No cleaning. Ink still on them…Ta-da!
I'm a neat freak, but the plastic channeled container keeps the tools from getting ink on each other.
Plus I'm all about organization, so this tidy slim box works well for me.
I wish I could tell you the brand, but there is nothing on the container to indicate that. But hopefully these pictures will give you an idea of what to purchase.
I realized the other day that it had been awhile since I shared one of my craft room organizational tips, so I hope I gave one or two of you a new idea to use.
Love this! Thank you for sharing! I was just thinking the other day – how on earth can I store these things so they don’t for 1. get ink on each other and 2 so I can located the ones I need easier! This is perfect timing!
I LOVE your way of storing the sponges and daubers together!!! I believe after A LOT of looking I think I have found what box this is. I believe it is a Plano Pro 2-3700 Stowaway Clear Plastic Tackle Box. Ooooo … the things I could use this box for. Now to go buy me one or 3 🙂
Thanks so much for sharing, Rachel. I love organization too but feel like I’m failing really bad at it. This is certainly do-able!
🙂 Glad I could give you an idea you can use.
Looks like it could be. Thanks, Kitty for your detective work.
Totally do-able! 🙂
