I had a fun card-making event last week – my Stamp-A-Stack. In past posts I shared 2 of the 4 cards we made…Here's the first one. I used elements of the September Paper Pumpkin kit to create it. (It's the one with the three black embossed strips in the background.) The second one I posted was a sparkly cupcake card. It was definitely a favorite at the event.

Today I am sharing the 3rd one – the Telescoping Star card. This one was MY favorite!

This telescoping image technique creates a look similar to the one you can get with the triple layer technique. But I think the telescoping image technique is much easier to do.

We stamped the star on a 4"x4" piece of vanilla card stock, cut it out in 3 pieces using the square framelit dies, attached the pieces to the front of the card so they were lined up (the center square is on two layers of dimensionals so it is a bit higher than the layer just outside of it which is raised up on one layer of dimensionals), and then used the fabulous Confetti Star Border punch from the Holiday Catalog on the bottom front edge. Don't you just love it?!

All those punched out stars create "star confetti." So I made sure to glue one onto the stamped message on the inside.
