Tomorrow night I am having a card-making event called Stamp-A-Stack. I'm every excited, because I LOVE all the cards that my stampers will be making. The first one I posted awhile back and it used elements of the September Paper Pumpkin kit. Click here to see this first card. (It's the one with the three black embossed strips in the background.)
Another card they will be making at this event is this one…
Lots of punches. Lots of stars. Lots of happy.
Who WOULDN'T want this as their birthday card?!
Thank you, Dawn Olchefske for the idea. Here is the card she swapped with me – the one that inspired my "take" on it.
(The supplies I used to make this card are listed at the bottom of this post.)
And speaking of Paper Pumpkin, my boys have been working on their class Halloween treats.
In fact they are almost done, but we are waiting for more stickers to arrive in our refill kit that we ordered.
Luke (above) attached all his strips straight across the top. Nicholas (below) liked my idea and angled his.
Luke attached two eyeballs on each of his. Nicholas just wanted one. But they both loved using the SNAIL adhesive…
…and mom's super sharp Paper Snips scissors. In fact, Nicholas is a "lefty" and he was even able to cut with it – no problems.
If you are unfamiliar with Paper Pumpkin kits and want to learn more, I just created a link on my blog called "Everything Paper Pumpkin." Right now I have it located on the right at the top under the scrolling Weekly Deals. But you can also click here in this post to access the page. By the way, Paper Pumpkin kits are awesome! So don't click on the link if you don't want to be caught up in tons of fun. 😉
Have a Happy Wednesday!
