My favorite month is August. The weather is at it's best here in Minnesota (great temps and very few mosquitos), my kiddos are still on Summer Vacation, and it's my birthday month! This year I celebrated by taking my family up north to my parents' cabin. My boys brought their friend, Logan. So that made our 4-day weekend even that much MORE special for everyone. We went fishing, swam almost every day, played baseball, hung out outside a lot, had a campfire with s'mores, played charades, went on walks in the woods, and ate a lot of yummy food.
My mom is also an "August baby," so we like to celebrate our birthdays together. This year we had cupcakes with sprinkles. Yum!
