These pages were inspired from a design I saw by fellow demonstrator, Jennifer Gulch. My scrapbookers/stampers made them last month for my Scrappin' Sunday event (see photos at the bottom). I have two slightly different versions of these pages that I am posting today. The first 10 photos are showing this first version. The next 7 are from the 2nd version. I know… I go a little overboard with photos.
The Fringe Scissors is one of my favorite new tools. I love how it makes these party hats even MORE festive.
The Uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen is perfect for creating faux stitching on this black card stock strip.
Dimensionals add shadow and lift without making a page too thick.
Dimensionals are again used here in the title to make the white banners stand out a bit more.
Here is the second set of pages – a slightly different version of the first layout.
My club members were good sports about posing for blog pictures. Thanks, gals!
Grace and I have been scrapbooking together for several years now. We met through MOMS Club and have been friends ever since. We do retreats together 2-3 times a year. And though we are no longer in MOMS Club, it's great that I get to see her monthly for Scrappin' Sunday. (Her girls' albums are fabulous!)
Here's Alyson, another friend (and my neighbor from across the street) working hard on her 4 sets of pages. She does FOUR sets each month for her 4 children. Someday I'll get her to come on a retreat so we can get photos added to them. 🙂 But even though her pages aren't getting completely done…yet, she is SO much more ahead of the game when she WILL have that time. She's a very busy mom.
I've known Deb for several years and am so grateful that she travels about an hour to get to my events. (That's 2 hours of travel time total since she goes home afterwards, too. LOL) I love seeing her. She's one of those people that lights up the room with her smile and positive attitude. She's dedicated to her craft and definitely sees the quality that Stampin' Up! products have to offer.
I love the discount and other perks of being a demonstrator, but it's the people I meet in my "job" that truly are the icing on the cake. I love all the friends I have made along the way. They have blessed my life in more ways than I can count.
