Scrappin' Sunday Class is coming soon – in 3 days! I'm excited that my scrapbookers will be making these pages which are strewn with very bold colors and shapes…and new products.
The design of my left page was inspired by a page on saw on display at the Stampin' Up! 2014 Leadership Conference in Houston last month.
I love the detail with the stitching and scraps of ribbon! And how gorgeous against the Natural Composition Specialty Designer Paper background.
But my challenge was to keep it a bit more simplified for a class setting. I also needed to use papers and products that could be affordable when buying many sets of supplies.
So here is what I came up with.
The Daffodil Delight 12×12 background card stock blends well with the 6×12 sheet of Watercolor Wonder designer paper. The Happy Watercolor stamp set is used in the top left banner for more watercolor imaging. Bold black and white arrows are formed with the Chevron Border Punch and Sale-A-Bration's Petal Parade stamp set (which is also used throughout the layout).
Those Rhinestones aren't new. I used a black Sharpie and colored the black.
I took the chevron pieces from the punch and extended the stamped arrows, but I also used them as corner accents.
Our new embossing folders add even more texture and detail.
Yippee Skippee! Can't wait until Sunday!
