It was a relaxing, yet fun last day of Leadership 2014.
We started off with a highly entertaining All-Attendee Class. There were prizes, an all-attendee gift, and game-show entertainment throughout the session. Our company is still doing very well. We are strong and growing globally!
We took a break for lunch – another formal sit-down one. I got separated from my roomies, but Dawn Olchefske and Susan Nygaard invited me to "lunch" with them.
Then we reconvened for the final General Session.
Shelli demonstrated lots of great ideas using banner products and kits.
Then she wowed us completely with a simple ink spattering technique…
Color one side of a "glue dot" adhesive strip. The ink will not adhere and will bead up…
Then just use your finger to flick the ink off!
As you can see I was completely amazed at how simple this was.
We also had recognition marches for those demonstrators that promoted this past year. Brenda got to march for hers! Congratulations, Brenda!
Shelli bid us safe travels and closed the event with one last all-attendee gift! It was sad when it all ended, but many of us ended up lingering in the Convention Center afterwards sociallizing and wishing each other safe travels.
The late afternoon/evening was very relaxing. Dawn joined us for dinner. We ate at an Italian restaurant and had yummy food and great conversation. And on the way back to our hotels, we joked about how full the restaurant got (NOT!) and questioned why they had us sit at the bar because we hadn't made a reservation.
(I wish I would've taken more pictures throughout the day. I'm gonna blame it on my ankle.)
Brenda, Monica and I went back to our room, packed our suitcases and then headed to the pool.
Unfortunately it was too cold for us to get in. But we had fun taking selfies by the pool and exploring.
I had a fabulous time in Houston. Great friends, loads of learning, ideas galore! Being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator rocks!
