I'm having a blast getting my finishing touches of holiday festivity done in our house. For once I feel like I am on top of things this year.

We are hosting a Christmas gathering for my mom's side of the family at our house on the 27th. It will be so fun to see and catch up with aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. There may be up to 43 people here!!

We don't have a large house. And with the 2 lower levels of our 4-level split taken over by my office and stamping studio, it's going to feel very cozy with 43 people hanging out in our kitchen, dining and living area on the first floor. Thank goodness a few of those 43 are kids, and they will more than likely be playing upstairs in the boys' rooms.

BECAUSE it's not a large house, the decorating is getting done quickly. Hahaha! Here's what the piano area looks like:

This banner was ALL created with Stampin' Up! products (see the supply list below). The turquoise colors in the banner go so well with the dark brown of the piano, so I added Early Espresso ink and card stock in the banner design. I love how this dark brown made the blues look so bold!

The banner kit comes with die cust snowflakes, but I trimmed closer in towards my glittered snowflakes and also used severals sets of framelits, circle punches, extra card stock and Dimensionals to give my accents a little more Ooomph.

I added matching turquoise ornaments in a bowl to coordinate with the "Joy" banner. The photos aren't the best, but the ornaments and the strand of beads are actually a perfect match with the colors in the banner.

And some of the ornaments have glittered snowflakes on them!

What's New?…The carryover list (what will still be made available from the Holiday Catalog once that catalog ends on January 2nd) came out yesterday.

Click HERE to download and view it. I don't see the banner kits in the list, so my guess is that come January 3rd, they will no longer be available. If you want one or more of these kits, be sure to place an order soon. You can use my supply list below to see the supplies used and to order them since they are all linked to my online store. Even if there isn't time to make this banner this year, you can get it all ready for the following year – which will be here sooner than we know it!
