We are having a grand time stamping this weekend!
My clubs meet one weekend a month, but we have LOTS of events to choose from – Card Café: 8 cards to choose from, Stamp Camp (shown below): 3 "more challenging" cards, What to Give: a gift-type item, and Scrappin' Sunday: a 12×12 scrapbook spread. Some stampers come to more than one event. Some even come to all four!
Here's a super cute gift card holder that we made today at Stamp Camp. This was our "Big Shot" card.
The second card was a beautiful, artistic Santa card. This was our "Technique" card.
We made pretty snowflake cards, too!! Check out this post to see the details. This was our "Fun Fold" card.
(I'll post more details about the first two cards next week.)
I didn't take photos at our afternoon Card Café event, but one of the stampers cut her finger accidentally on the paper cutter soon after she arrived – a long cut, too. Ouch. Since this month we had a Christmas Card themed Card Café, the participants picked out ahead of time which cards they wanted to make. Wouldn't you know it?…Kirsten had picked 5 of each of the 8 designs – 40 cards total! The injury was going to make it hard for her to get them done, so those of us there pitched in and helped her out. Some gals helped her make up to 10 cards! Stampers have such good hearts! Thanks Julie, Brenda, and Kristi for helping Kirsten out. You all rock!
