I've been sharing Christmas gift tag ideas recently. Have you seen them? Click here and here to see two sets of tags we made at my recent retreat class. Below is the 3rd set of tags we made in that class. The last of the four sets are showing up on my blog tomorrow. (Stay tuned!)
The only challenge with this set of tags (shown below) was the ribbon. But there is a trick! Each tag uses TWO pieces of ribbon. The straight one gets wrapped around and secured with adhesive. Then tie a bow with the second ribbon and attach with a glue dot.
Do you love the foil patterned sheets of paper? (The last photo really shows how shiny it is.) You can find them in the Winter Frost Specialty pack of designer paper in the Holiday Catalog.
Inside I have (I mean Santa has) used our new White Stampin' Chalk Marker.
The chalk marker is perfect for darker card stock.
Oval Collection Framelits made this oval tag easy to create. Stamp the message with Bermuda Bay Classic ink on the right half of a rectangular piece of Whisper White card stock, attach the designer paper to the left half, then die-cut the entire piece with an oval framelit. Ta-da!
Hopefully these posts have inspired you to try some new gift tag ideas this December.
But if you want to make some quick Christmas gift tags without having to plan and purchase a lot of product separately, check out the new holiday gift tag KIT that now available through Stampin' Up!
