I'm feeling pampered. I'm feeling blessed. I'm feeling grateful that sharing what I love has given me such rewards. Here are some pics from my first day here at the Founder's Circle Retreat 2013 in St. George, UT.
I shared the drive to our hotel with Lisa Bowell, Dawn Olchefske, Terri Gaines, and Kay Kalthoff. (And there's Ann Clemmer and Tara McCormack in the back, too.)
The entire hotel is just for us, and we were greeted warmly as we entered.
Stampin' Up! makes us feel even more special – each of us have a chalkboard to decorate the door of our room.
YES! We each have our own room. Which is great right right now, because something I ate is making it hard for me to sleep tonight. So I'm up bloggin'! 🙂
The Horseshoe Lounge is where we get to come for prizes and snacks.
As you can see, I'm VERY excited to see apples and nuts as snack options!
I decided to spend most of the afternoon out by the pool. So glad I did, too. I visited with old friends and met some new ones – Debbie Moczek & Sherron Karasek.
Our Welcome Dinner was another highlight of the day. Beautiful table settings greeted all of us 120 demonstrators. I dined with the others in my "candy" group (Esther Boyle, Lisa Bowell, Michelle Zindorf, Kay Kalthoff, Jill Hilliard, and Josée Smuck). It was a fun way to make more new friends.
But I ate WAY too much.
After dinner I met up for a First Time Achiever's Meeting. We played get-to-know-you games and shared our stories.
I was very tired when I got back to my room, and I got ready for bed before I even noticed my pillow gift! Such pretty packaging.
There were new products inside! – things I can't share online yet. Too bad for those of you that were curious. But let's just say,… YIPPEE! Sparkly goodness.
I CAN share with you, though, all the other goodies I got today – my peach preserves from dinner, product gifts, my Founder's Circle yearbook, and (below) my gift from Tami Waddell (my third level upline who is also here attending Founder's).
She made it with My Digital Studio! Then she wrapped our pretty ribbon around it and finished it off with a hand-stamped tag. Adorable!
(Plus, she put a sweet message on the inside.)
I think I will try to get some shut-eye now.
Stamp Your Art Out! ~Rachel
Thanks so much for posting an update – everything looks fabulous! Enjoy every moment – hope you got some sleep!
I got VERY little sleep last night, but will probably be able to crash tonight. (I hope.)
