I'm still plugging away on my Convention swap cards and gifts! Notice there was no stampyourartout post yesterday? Sorry about that. But recently I was out shopping for gifts to give the gals I'll be sharing a hotel room with. And I found these adorable mini flashlights and sticky note pads in the dollar section of the local office store. So I snatched some up and added a little SU! product to make them even cuter.
And I mean "a little"… as I barely used any extra products. The flashlight (shown above) is wrapped with a 1" x 2-1/2" piece of Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper and secured with Sticky Strip. The sticky note pads had a white base, so I flipped them upside-down to decorate them. With the same designer paper, I punched and attached with a couple Mini Glue Dots an Elegant Butterfly and 3 self-adhesive Rhinestones. To give the butterfly that 3-D look, I only attached the glue dots to it in the middle and then bent up the wings a bit.
So now when we're all sitting and taking notes during General Session or when one of us can't find something in the middle of the night, we'll all have our cute little lights to help us out. Plus who can't use more sticky notes?
I hope they like their gifts.
