Happy 4th, everyone!
Both my boys can now ride their bikes without training wheels! Luke learned on Tuesday and Nicholas mastered the skill the day before.
So yesterday we celebrated their "Independence" Day. When they woke up, they found treat bags waiting for them.
I grabbed some red and blue candies, and mixed them in with some Kisses.
Then I added them to a medium cello bag.
I folded over the top of the bag, then stapled a 4" x 7" piece of Real Red card stock (tolded in half) to the top to seal in the treats. Then I stamped that adorable bicycle image from the new Cycle Celebration stamp set (which you can get in wood-mount or clear-mount) in Pacific Point ink onto a piece of 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Whisper White card stock.
Of course I had to decorate the wheel a bit, so I added a Real Red brad from the set of Brights Glimmer Brads.
Here's the finished "cello topper." I've listed the rest of supplies I used on it at the end of this post.
Happy boys!
I hope you all enjoy your Independence Day as well!
