Things were going wrong all day yesterday – the new vacuum cleaner's cord got torningexpose the wires just by vacuuming over it, our air conditioning in our van wasn't working, we discovered a wasp's nest that needed to be removed, I pierced the roof of my mouth by eating a tortilla chip, blah, blah, blah… You get the idea.
Enough complaining, though.
I just needed a spa moment by the end of the day. So I got my nail polish out and painted my toes! The neighbor girls picked the color for me, and I sat outside on the front step while the kids played. I pretended that none of the negatives happened and it was nice to have a moment in 'La La Land.'
