Such a cute card!

A couple years ago I made a card similar to this one designed to hold a gift card. So it was fun to attend an SU Leaders event last month and see a fabulous tissue box card shared by Terri Gaines. I took a photo and then created my own version (shown below) so my club members could make this adorable pop-up tissue box card.

It's easy enough to make. Use lightweight paper such as Stampin' Up!'s designer series paper. Cut two pieces to 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". Score each at 1-3/4", 2-1/2", 4-1/4", and 5". This should give you 4 sections that are 1-3/4" wide and one that is just 1/2" wide (the flap where the adhesive goes). Fold together to make a couple open-ended rectangular prisms (box shapes). Adhere one into the fold of the inside of the card, then attach the other to the last prism and the base of the inside of of the card. Be sure to leave adhesive out of the middle area where the two prisms meet or you won't be able to slip the tissue down inside.
